Job Description

As the Director of Enterprise Sales, will be responsible for leading a team of enterprise sales resources and individually driving new revenue with large enterprise merchants. This role will be a responsible and accountable sales executive with a sense of urgency for driving the sales efforts in their territory and results of the company through the successful identification, development, close, and execution/implementation of new accounts and with selected existing customers.

What You'll Do:

  • Generate newly signed revenue within key target verticals, Internet Retailer 500, travel, and entertainment clients along with other CNP prospects.
  • Deliver on previous industry sales expertise in the gateway and payment processing world.
  • Drive revenue and business development initiatives with a targeted group of existing customers.
  • Manage a team of enterprise sales individuals that are based remotely.
  • Support the VP of Merchant Services on strategic direction of the team.
  • Report to senior management on team progress.
  • Keep management informed of critical issues, strategic opportunities, and issue status.
  • Prepare and present any required reports to requestor and management.

What We Need You to Have:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
    In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or equivalent with four or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 10 years of experience with successful sales, B2B, client management, or a related area.
  • Experience should include selling all forms of electronic payment options, including card processing, merchant solutions, payment fraud solutions.
  • Proven experience managing teams and projects.
  • Prior experience partner with senior-level decision makers.
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment (i.e., solid time management and organization skills).
  • Proven analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Able to proactively identify business opportunities and persuasively influence both internal and external constituents.
  • Advanced negotiation, influencing, and collaboration skills.
  • What We'd Like You to Have:
  • Experience with a CRM.
  • Prior experience selling solutions into the card not present client base solutions to merchants.
  • Experience with hiring, developing, and leading a team.
  • Travel Requirements:
  • Up to 50% domestic and international, when it is safe to do so.

This position can be performed in a remote work arrangement for any candidate located outside the greater Cleveland area, or any Visa office. To foster community, connection, and collaboration, it is expected that candidates within a 50 mile commute of our Mentor, Ohio location adhere to a hybrid working model. Hybrid work is also expected for any candidate within a 50 mile commute of a Visa office. This hybrid model includes in office and work from home days each week. (work/ home icon?)
