FIELD CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Requirements
- Considerable knowledge of the geography and street locations of the area served by the Water Board
- ability to develop and maintain positive, cooperative, team-oriented
working relationships with supervisors and co-workers
- ability to maintain a professional appearance and
a positive, courteous, and helpful attitude toward customers and the general public
- Ability to write legibly
- ability to make simple arithmetical computations
Job Duties
- Reads water meters regularly and accurately records findings.
- Does minor meter repair in field, such as replacing meters, replacing meter lids, boxes.
- Keeps meter boxes cleaned out and cuts brush as needed.
- Maintains a positive, team-oriented working relationship with Water Board staff; maintains a
professional appearance; and maintains a courteous attitude toward customers and the general
public.
- Codes meters into existing meter reading routes
