Summary of Position:

Cardinal Newman School of Columbia, South Carolina is accepting applications for an immediate opening for a part-time English teacher for the remainder of the 2023 academic year. We are seeking a subject area expert who, in collaboration with the administration, is responsible for the literary development of our students. The classes offer an in-depth study of literature including a sound pairing of both fiction and nonfiction selections with an emerging emphasis on thematic study.

Specifics:

· Classes would include 10th-grade English classes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will possess a strong educational background in English, have the ability and background to teach tenth and twelfth-grade English classes, and must have a passion for inspiring an appreciation for literature and writing. The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of a master’s degree.

Compensation:

Salary ranges start at $10,000 for the remainder of the academic year dependent upon education and experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $2,000.00 per week
