We are representing a globally recognized manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Controls Technician due to a recent divisional promotion. The Engineering Manager is looking to begin the interview process ASAP.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide key input into the development of departmental strategic goals along with identifying key measurable to support the departmental goals.
- Maintain PLC based control systems for manufacturing automation and instrumentation.
- Lead projects and assist skilled trades in electrical disciplines.
- Support operations in electrical/controls troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
- Work closely with engineering team to define system control needs.
- Guides design, develops and tests electrical control methods, materials, processes and results.
Position Requirements
- Candidate should have at least 3 years of PLC/Controls programming/troubleshooting experience within high speed/volume manufacturing environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
