Position Summary:

Capitol Wholesale is looking for a full-time Receptionist to speak clearly, distinctly, and with a friendly, courteous tone. You will use listening skills to put callers at ease and obtains accurate, complete information.

Responsibilities:

• Answer all incoming phone calls.
• Direct customers, vendors to staff, or departments they are requesting
• Place outgoing calls
• Responsible for transfers for specific branches
• Ship confirmation, billing, and invoicing
• Backup and process postings and end-of-day reports
• Issue credits as needed
• Filling and other office duties as needed
• Coordinates drivers and loads for all locations
• Reviews purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
• Makes specials shipping arrangements as necessary
• Ensures the quality of all services provided meet the required standards
• Follows schedules of product distribution
• Tracks shipment details, locations, ETAs
• Work with the team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate
• 1- 3 years experience in a warehouse position/industry
• Experience with building materials a plus
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, orders, etc.
• Good hand-eye coordination, concentration skills, and demonstrated attention to detail

Compensation for this role is $17 - $20 hourly DOE
