Responsibilities

• Provides visitor and patient customer service.
• Anticipates the needs of patients, guests, and visitors and takes proactive measures to ensure their satisfaction.
• Provides guidance to patients and visitors to various department locations and directs guests using facility maps or other aids to appropriate locations.
• Provides patient and guest comfort and emotional support.
• Surveys lobby and surrounding area ensuring it is inviting and that visitors are being assisted as they enter.
• Answers phones and provides clerical and administrative services.
• Collaborates with security personnel to provide a hospitable, welcoming and safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of work experience required.

• Frequent physical demands include: Standing Occasional physical demands include: Sitting , Walking , Climbing (e.g., stairs or ladders) , Carry objects , Push/Pull , Twisting , Bending , Reaching forward , Reaching overhead , Squat/kneel/crawl , Wrist position deviation , Pinching/fine motor activities , Keyboard use/repetitive motion Continuous physical demands include: Talk or Hear Lifting Floor to Waist 15 lbs. Lifting Waist Level and Above 10 lbs.
