Capital Express, the Midwest's leading file mile logistics company is seeking an enthusiastic Operations Supervisor in our Grimes Iowa facility. This newly created position will evolve with the right candidate and have growth opportunities with a rapidly growing company.
Schedule for this position is Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday
Starting salary $45,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- lead the weekend communication with customers and delivery drivers to provide support and resolution to issues, comments and/or concerns
- oversee and assist the weekend freight sort and staging for on-time departures
- responsible to dispatch nightly line-hauls with the accurate freight
- Responsible for the weekend and after hours critical part pulls for the customer's on demand calls
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Quick thinker and problem solving abilities
- Proficient computer skills, including Outlook and Office
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience required
- Experience in Logistics preferred
Background and drug screen required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
