Senior Software Developer Harris School Solutions - Remote This position is a great opportunity to contribute to the quality, customer experience, and ongoing success of Harris School Solutions products. We are creating a web-based financial system used by K-12 and charter schools throughout the United States. As a Senior Software Developer, you will collaborate with other software developers, Client Services Team and managers to develop and maintain our applications. This includes organizing requirements, researching business rules, architecting database and programming solutions, verifying bug and data issues, helping with releases, and generally adding your energy to our team. It is ideal to be self-motivated and have a mind towards reusable solutions. Our products are being rewritten from a thick client solution to a web application using .Net, Blazor, Telerick, and C#. Qualifications: Experience in designing and developing enterprise-scale .NET applications. Expertise with the .NET Framework 4.0 or greater using the VB.Net or C# programming language. Expertise in developing moderate to complex SQL in MS SQL Server, Postgresql, and/or Oracle. Expertise with complex queries and performance analysis in MS SQL Server, Postgresql and/or Oracle Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline Ability to pick up technologies quickly and learn new skills. Azure Dev Ops Experience Ability to work independently and be a flexible, self-motivated team player. Uses good judgment when analyzing the impact of existing code changes or on newly developed code. This includes accurate estimation of the effort needed to complete the tasks assigned to you. Experience with Agile/Scrum process is a plus.
