Overview

The Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for ensuring an effective and timely recruitment process by screening qualified candidates for particular positions. The Recruiter will choose qualified applicants for current openings, manager positions and lead candidates throughout the interview and hiring process. In addition, he/she will then move forward to effectively negotiating job offers and assist the HR Team with coordinating orientation of new staff. Together with the HR director, the recruiter is responsible for maintaining accurate records for personnel, vacancies and advertising expenses.

Location: Falls Church, VA

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00pm

Responsibilities

Collaborating with Capital Caring managers, marketing staff and educators, the Recruiter ensures the timely and effective interview and selection of the highest caliber staff. The Healthcare Recruiter markets Capital Caring as an employer in the community and recruits qualified applicants for designated openings. She/he uses effective print media and internet advertising, employee referrals, direct mail, career fair access and is a liaison between Capital Caring, schools and universities. 

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’ s degree in Human Resources, healthcare, related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

Must have 2-5 years of healthcare, human resources generalist, recruitment experience or the equivalent combination of relevant experience and skills.
