About the Job:

As a member of our Data Team, you will work across Capco’s different domains and solution offerings to help break down large problems, develop approaches and solutions. As a Data Platforms (Architect), you will work with the industry’s leading data platforms to create data-driven, strategic solutions which will help drive transformation for our clients.

What You’ll Get to Do:

• Serve as the Data on Cloud subject matter expert providing strategy and architecture recommendations
• Oversee the cloud data programs from both a technical and non-technical perspective
• Serve as a senior cloud data solution architect for high visible cloud-based data and analytics initiatives
• Provide input into application design and deployment patterns for the public/private/hybrid cloud implementations
• Work with leaders and team members at all levels and across functional lines
• Provide technical leadership in architecture, design, and engineering in modernization of legacy Data Ingestion, ETL and databases to new technologies in the Public Cloud (GCP/Azure/AWS) and Big Data Capabilities
• Create long-term business and technology data architecture roadmap ensuring alignment to org strategic initiatives & industry leadership
• Stay abreast of leading-edge technologies in the industry evaluating emerging software technologies
• Set automation standards, implements tooling to support/report adherence
• Actively mentor team members, through code reviews, brown bags, tech talks, design reviews

What You’ll Bring with You:

• 5 years of experience in solution architecture specific to Cloud Data Solutions - data lake, data warehouse deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP
• 3 years of experience in architecture on Kubernetes and general container technology and microservices/API
• Experience in implementing Data architectural paradigms - Lakehouse, Mesh
• Experience designing, developing, deploying, and securing public SaaS cloud deployments
• Experience securing IaaS / PaaS private cloud or DevOps environments
• Experience in SQL, ETL/ELT, Data warehousing concepts, Automation
• Experience in Data modelling solutions and handling semi-structured and structured datasets
• Development experience in Big Data / Cloud ecosystem – ability to design, develop, document and architect Hadoop / Cloud applications
• Previous or Current development experience in Python / Scala / Java / C# / NoSQL
• Knowledge of Data Pipeline/workflow management tools such as Airflow
• Expertise in one or more Streaming solutions - Kafka, Kinesis, Event Hub, DataFlow
• Knowledge of one or more Cloud Datawarehouse platforms - Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, BigQuery
• Knowledge of the Agile methodology for delivering software solutions
• Knowledge and understanding of technical design patterns
• Financial Services & Insurance experience a plus
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to communicate appropriately with corporate executives and technical teams
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

The estimated salary for this role is 196,000 - 255,000 plus bonus potential and benefits.
