Job Description: To oversee housekeeping staff and ensure rooms are up to hotel standards

Responsibilities:

Rooms

• Train new hires on hotel cleaning standards
• Assign housekeeping’s daily cleaning schedules
• Ensure housekeeping staff have the necessary supplies to clean rooms in a timely manner
• Ensure all hotel rooms meet standards of cleanliness
• Inspect all rooms upon completion of cleaning
• Step in if rooms do not meet standards, take action and hold staff accountable
• Communicate regularly with the Front Desk and Hotel Manager to ensure the status of rooms/hotel is accurate, on time and in order

Inventory | Ordering

• Weekly inventory of all linens, towels, etc and mark those for removal
• Weekly inventory of cleaning and HK supplies
• Monthly inventory of uniforms to ensure uniforms are in great condition and up to hotel standards

Laundry Room

• Maintain a clean and orderly laundry room at all times
• Maintain clean and orderly supply vehicles at all times
• Replenish supply vehicles so that housekeepers may do their jobs with ease
• Ensure that stained laundry is being processed in a timely manner
• Remove any linens, towels, etc that are “out of service” weekly
• Make sure that all tablets, walkies, etc are in working order and ready for use daily

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
