QC Lab Technician

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree in a relevant field or 3 years working in a laboratory environment.
  • Experience in measuring viscosity, gloss, color via spectrophotometry, density, % solids, pH, as well as operating analytical instrumentation like FTIR spectrophotometer.
  • Certificate of Analysis (CoA) generation experience
  • Test data gathering, organizing, and reporting experience
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Basic math competence

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Routine quality control (QC) testing on inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods
  • Generation and reporting of QC data in CoA and CoC formats
  • Data archiving into formal test reports and other internal documentation media
  • Routine maintenance of testing equipment including, but not limited to, periodic calibrations
  • Monthly production metric reporting
  • Exercises competence in communicating verbally and in written form with both production and office personnel
  • Follows all safety, housekeeping, and other internal policy/procedure
  • Other technical support tasks as needed

Training to be Provided:

  • General training package
  • Individual Job Specific Training
