Cambria Hotels Bettendorf is Hiring a Line Cook Near Bettendorf, IA
Cambria Hotel is looking for line cooks in our bistro as we continue to grow. The line cook is responsible for preparing fresh, made to order food in our hotel's full service bar and restaurant. We feature a curated menu of locally inspired dishes, specialty cocktails, and seasonal craft beers from Quad City brewers.
- $17 starting wage based on experience with a wage increase at 4 months.
- Full-Time and Part-Time options available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing all guest orders (dining room or banquets), both hot and cold items, soup, sandwiches, and entrees all according to recipe specifications and quality standards to ensure consistency.
- Must be able to maintain and utilize knowledge of recipe specifications on a daily basis.
- Maintains all equipment and cooking utensils in good operating condition using proper sanitation guidelines.
- Must have a proper knowledge of temperature requirements for holding re-heating and cooling of product to prevent food spoilage and food borne illness.
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen area that meet or exceed company, federal, state, or local health and safety standards.
- Plans and prepares items for following day if advance preparation is required. Checks inventory and notifies Chef as necessary to ensure adequate quantity and quality product is available.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (nice to have but not required).

- 1 years prior experience in a fast paced environment.
