Calspan Corporation is Hiring a Technical Sales Specialist Near St. Paul, MN

Overview

Responsible for sales of aftermarket parts, solutions, and services. Work with internal and external customers to identify needs and offer solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with proposals and quotations for upgrades and requested parts and/or services and close orders in line with annual goals.
  • Determine proper replacement parts for obsolete equipment and research legacy systems and equipment to support long-term customers.
  • Provide training and detailed troubleshooting assistance to customers, along with project support to internal departments as needed.
  • Develop and discuss practical options and solutions with customers regarding test cell parts, service, maintenance, and calibration.

Qualifications

Preferred Education / Experience:

  • Associates degree in related discipline
  • 3 years of experience in related industry; or
  • A combination of education and experience equivalent to above

Preferred Knowledge / Ability:

  • Strong background in aftermarket sales.
  • Ability to turn after service opportunities into orders.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic experience.
  • Control and instrumentation experience desired.
  • Outstanding customer service and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly develop rapport with current and prospective tenants
  • Motivated self- starter with the ability to work well in a team setting
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to quickly adapt and change priorities while professionally managing interruptions
  • Must be organized and meet assigned deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
