The Human Resources Generalist drives organizational performance and business results by optimizing and growing the capability of the workforce. Recommends and implements HR strategic and tactical plans to support the achievement of business goals and obtain a high level of employee engagement and performance. This is a collaborative position responsible for partnering with management and focusing on individualized development.
Key Responsibilities
· The Human Resources Generalist is accountable for the identification of HR needs and the development, implementation, and maintenance of programs to meet identified needs.
· Provide leadership for the day-to-day human resources initiatives; leading change initiatives; and supporting an engaged culture.
· Make recommendations to support a culture that aligns with the Company’s policies, mission, vision and values and that increase overall effectiveness of the HR function.
· Ensure that applicable HR policies are compliant and best practices in place.
· Conduct onboarding, orientation, drug screening activities for the organization.
· Recruit and manage third parties to deliver cultural fit and best in class candidates.
· Provide tactical direction to drive performance improvement through learning and development solutions.
· Support the company’s goal setting and performance management processes and ensures effective deployment in coordination with Company timelines.
· Serve as an impartial resource to resolve workplace conflicts. Provide recommendations and feedback to management to ensure appropriate and consistent action is taken where necessary.
· Respond to inquiries from employees and leaders regarding matters involving employment practices, policies, employment laws and HR compliance.
· In-depth knowledge and understanding of all facets of human resources practices.
· Experience using and optimizing HRIS solutions.
· Strong ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
· Superior conflict-resolution, facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree Human Resources, Business, Education, Labor Management, or a related field
· Minimum 7 years of human resources experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
· Ability to analyze and interpret data
· Demonstrated ability to be organized, proactive in follow-up and follow-through; continual attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple competing tasks, projects and demands
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to make sound judgments and effectively solve problems in a professional manner
· Sit/Stand at desk for 8-10 hours per day
· Ability to use office equipment
· Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
