We’re hiring a Restaurant Supervisor at Call Your Mother - Washington, DC. 

The FOH Supervisor partners with the General Manager to provide leadership, communication, coaching, and motivation to team members, and is always guest-focused, food-focused, and team-focused. The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations at their location during their shifts. Being a FOH Supervisor means that you exemplify the following:

• You will verify that all checklists, recipe specifications, and other standardized tools are being adhered to at all times, and when necessary, provide fast feedback, coach, train, and or praise your team members concerning their performance.
• You will partner with other supervisors, General Managers, Area Leader(s), and Restaurant Support in providing a positive, safe, and efficient place to work.

Responsibilities:

• Execute service at the highest level, which includes figure-8 management. All aspects of the restaurant are in your hands, and you should possess an ownership mentality as you make decisions throughout the day.
• Partner with the GM to support the business by holding team members accountable, upholding company policies and procedures, and proactively communicating positive feedback and opportunities for growth with the team and business. 
• Embody our VIBES and coach in the moment in the spirit of each of those values.
• Control food costs, labor, and waste, and validate that we are sending out the best products that we can according to our recipes and Standards of Operation.

Desired Skills/Experience/Certifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in a supervisor role
• Demonstrate expertise in all areas of the front of house and kitchen operations
• Must have the ability to stand or walk for entire shift
• Exhibit emotional intelligence and possess the ability to motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must believe in a hands-on supervising approach.
• Proficient written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Food Safety Certification required (ServSafe Manager’s Certification).
