CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH is Hiring a Program Technician (Surveyor Technician) Near Santa Rosa, CA

Working Title: Surveyor Technician

_This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by performing the less complex licensing activities, reviewing forms for data entry, and filing various forms. The Program Technician (PT) will also process intakes and complaints, and be co-responsible for answering the phone line(s) on a daily basis. This position will be located at the public window and be responsible for greeting the public.

The incumbent works under the close supervision of the Supervising Program Technician II.

Teleworking may be available for this position, in accordance with CDPHs Telework Policy and Procedures.

Duty Statement:

Interpret and enter complaints and special incidents for all health facility types from facility generated self-reports and complainants received by mail, telephone, and in person. Enter information into the Aspen Complaint Tracking System (ACTS). Enter licensing information into Electronic Licensing Management Systems (ELMS). Process all intakes/complaints in a timely manner in reference to the level of priority as determined by the Health Facilities Evaluator Supervisor, Regional Office Administrator(s) and/or Regional Officer Manager(s). Distribute and assign complaints to the appropriate supervisor.
