JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Shipping and Receiving

Job Purpose: To receive, check in, and stock all materials for production and installation.

Reporting to: Operations Manager.

Location: Pottstown

Key Functions: 1. Receive and inspect all deliveries.

2. Check off, label, and stock all incoming materials.

3. Communicate with all departments regarding incoming materials.

Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect all deliveries

• Receive all deliveries.
• Properly inspect and sign for deliveries.
• Maintain receiving areas and keep clear and organized.

Check off, label, and stock all incoming materials

• Check off all incoming materials against invoices.
• Label all applicable special orders for jobs.
• Stock materials in applicable departments and locations.

Communicate with all departments regarding incoming materials

• Communicate with ordering and preproduction regarding incoming materials.
• Communicate with office and preproduction regarding damaged materials.
• Communicate with ordering regarding low stock.
