Position Summary

The Data Analyst is responsible for understanding business reporting needs and creating reports in DOMO. This position will share insight on data analysis to help advise internal business partners.

This position is located at our corporate office in Kennesaw, GA. There is an option to work remote but this person must currently reside in the metro Atlanta area to be able to come into the office when needed/requested.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize and/or build dimensional data models
• Lead efforts to drive efficiency and automation of data analytics
• Develop high, mid and low level designs including data flows
• Use business requirements to develop reporting leveraging DOMO, SAP Data Cloud and/or Power BI
• Visualize data insights then clearly and concisely communicate findings to teams across the organization
• Develop accurate/well-written reports
• Work closely with business partners to identify reporting requirements
• Assist auditors in gathering data as requested
• Determine root cause analysis of data deficiencies
• Support continuous improvement activities
• Provide support for data pipeline activities
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience is required
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience with reporting tools is required; DOMO and/or Power BI is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL is required
• Thorough understanding of database schemas and SQL optimization techniques is required
• Experience with cloud storage is required; AWS is preferred
• Experience building data models is required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
• Experience with SAP and SAP Data Warehouse Cloud is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to turn data into a story for business partners
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required
• Experience with retail data is preferred
