Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Toddler Teacher to join our amazing team of exceptional caregivers in a fun-filled and loving environment. You will have a great love and patience for young children and the energy to keep up with them!! Ideal candidate can work five days a week, full time.

Qualifications needed to teach them effectively include a nurturing and compassionate personality, knowledge of best practices and procedures as well as the ability to engage our Toddlers and earn their trust and affection. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of every child so they can more easily acclimate in the next level of education.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment for children to thrive consistent with health and safety standards
• Employ a variety of techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to engage children
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
• Help the children to reach milestones
• Prepare food and bottles safely, following all protocols
• Organize nap and meal schedules
• Supervise children at all times
• Complete all required daily documentation
• Track children’s progress and report to parents via app
• Communicate with parents regularly
• Collaborate with other educators

Skills

• Proven experience as a Toddler Teacher
• Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and milestones
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Nurturing, friendly and reliable
• Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
• Certification in child CPR
• BSc/BA or CDA is a plus
