Position Summary: The Manager, Human Resources will act as an advisor and point of contact for all employees. The Manager will provide a full range of HR support, including onboarding, employee relations, HRIS maintenance, talent management, policy implementation, and performance management. The Manager will consultant with management on human resources related issues. Essential Functions: Establish and maintain trusting relationships with employees and management. Facilitate the on-boarding and off-boarding of employees and contingent workers. Provide day-to-day guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies and programs. Manage the HR email inbox and serve as the primary responder to general inquiries. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Collaborate with managers on employee relations matters. Manage the Leave of Absence Program, which includes: FMLA, Personal Leave, Disability and ADAAA accommodation requests. Process employee data changes in Workday including re-organizations, title changes, compensation changes, time entry support, etc. Provide support to initiatives and projects in the HRIS (Workday). Operate within regulatory compliance including, but not limited to: EEO compliance, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADAAA, and other federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Organize and participate in various HR projects and initiatives in collaboration with the Hudson global HR team. Assist in researching issues relating to HR processes and employment law compliance. Prepare HR reporting and analysis upon request. Streamline and improve existing processes to increase efficiency. Assist with recruiting process as needed. Provide support to ad-hoc projects as needed. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Possess a strong understanding of HR processes and administration. Demonstrates professional maturity that represents the organizations image. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required. Experience: 7-10 years of experience working within an HR function required. HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience strongly preferred. Other Skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office Suite) required. Prior experience with Workday preferred. Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role generally requires 40 hours per week; however, hours may vary based on workflow. Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.
