We are currently looking for an Product & Application Engineer Hygenic Fluid Handling About the position You are an active team player in the Northern Europe Cluster Food & Water team that is providing sales support to end-users and Alfa Laval channel partners in the field of fluid handling. In close collaboration with your colleagues you provide technical advice to our customers and help them make the best selections from Alfa Laval's portfolio, which includes among others: valves, pumps and tank cleaning equipment. You determine the right technical specifications and translate this into a commercial offer. In addition, you support our channel partners by training and guiding them to represent Alfa Laval's brand and products. In your role you have frequent contact with our channel partners and end-users and together with your colleagues you ensure that the team is successful in delivering a great customer experience. Who are you? You are a technical product specialist with commercial drive and are passionate about providing customers with the optimum solution to their needs. You are proactive, self-driven and structured, analytical and eager to learn new things and to understand each aspect of the products you are accountable for. You have a positive attitude with a service mind-set and always aim for high quality. What do you know? You have a technical education at BSc level and some experience within a similar position or in technical sales. Knowledge of fluid handling equipment such as pumps and valves is an asset, as is experience in a technical or technical-commercial environment. Affinity with IT systems is preferable. Solid language skills in English are a must, Dutch, Danish or French is an advantage. It is a plus to be familiar with the Food & Water industry, ideally in sanitary fluid handling applications.
