Our Opportunity: 
 C4 Therapeutics (C4T) is seeking an experienced Program Manager (Director level) to join a select group of innovative, disciplined professionals, dedicated to the company’s mission to deliver novel degrader therapies to patients. This will be a highly visible role supporting critical C4T programs across the portfolio. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting clinical programs and have the clinical/scientific acumen and industry experience to accelerate C4T’s portfolio programs through commercial launch. 

Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong desire to lead and succeed in a cooperative team setting. Qualified candidates with a proven record of professional accomplishment at the Associate Director level or above are encouraged to apply.

The Role:

As a Director, Program Management, you will be accountable to: 

• Create, maintain and drive the execution of an integrated development timeline for the program(s) in alignment with program and corporate goals 
• Act as a thought partner with the Program Lead to develop an overall integrated development plan tying the timeline to functional and program strategies 
• Establish and maintain a strong partnership with the program teams to achieve goals by communicating expectations, providing critical input, identifying potential gaps, and recommending solutions. 
• Provide an execution framework for programs by i) establishing and maintaining effective program teams / sub-teams in a matrixed environment, ii) coordinating and running program meetings, iii) setting deliverable and timeline expectations, iv) tracking and communicating progress, v) preparing key documentation and reports, vi) prioritizing activities. 
• Mentor program managers (PMs) at C4T and work with your PM colleagues to harmonize PM practices across the entire C4T program portfolio. 
• Work with Finance to support the development of program-specific budgets (annual and long-range) 
• Establish and maintain both open and formal communication with senior leadership through timely portfolio reviews, resource evaluation, and gap analyses for continuous improvement. 

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s or PhD in a life science-related discipline. 
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience in biotech or pharma 
• Project Management experience in clinical development 
• Operational expertise in oncology drug research & development highly preferred 
• Expertise in project management methodologies (MS Project, SharePoint, Smartsheet, MS Office). 
• Program Management Professional certification a plus. 
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; empathy and ability to communicate expectations and deliverables across all levels of the organization, both internally and externally. 
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to work cooperatively in a creative, entrepreneurial, and productive team environment. 
• Proactive attitude, passion for the development of therapeutics, strong background, and a proven record of achievement in biotech/pharma setting.
