Summary:

Responsible for planning, establishing, directing and coordinating all quality assurance policies and practices across all of c3controls’ global locations. Ensures the quality of materials purchased, processed, manufactured and distributed by the organization comply with defined quality objectives and targets. Focuses on process development and product improvement. Supports continuous improvement of product development, manufacturing and customer service. Interfaces with suppliers, engineers, operations and customers to resolve quality issues and issue corrective actions. Acts as a technical resource to other departments and direct reports to address and resolve quality inquiries and problems. Assists in developing short- and long-range quality goals and objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining the Quality System.
• Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.
• Conduct formal root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns.
• Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen, lean methods, etc.
• Develop training to build quality awareness.
• Responsible for the design and development of inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment, quality assurance tests, and statistical analysis to ensure materials and products meet the required standards and specifications.
• Interface with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure transfer of new products to Production are in accordance with approved data.
• Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audit findings reports and determining proper corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze failure and implement corrective and preventive actions to respond to customer complaints including preparing correspondence with customers.
• Continuously improving QA receiving inspection processes and procedures.
• Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.
• Manage suppliers’ performance and conduct audits.
• Preparation of QA reports.
• Participates, leads when appropriate, and is a liaison for external audits including certification organizations (ex. Underwriters Laboratories, Canadian Standards Association).

Education/Experience:

• B.S. Industrial Engineering, B.S. Manufacturing Engineering, B.S. Mechanical Engineering, B.S. Engineering Mechanics, B.S. Mechanical Engineering Technology, B.S. Quality Control or Equivalent Degree.
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification desired.
• 10 years or more.
• Management experience leading a global team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
