C.R. Jackson, Inc., is a family-owned asphalt and highway-heavy construction company that has been serving South Carolina for over fifty years. Our scope of work includes complex highway construction projects; private and public site development; asphalt paving from parking lots to interstates; cement stabilization of soils and reclamation of roadways; sewer and water system construction; installation of all manner of drainage systems; and hot mix asphalt sales. We have a presence in over half of South Carolina’s 46 counties with seven asphalt plants and 250 team members. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategies related to recruiting, rewarding, and retaining employees.
- Oversees the workflow of the HR staff to include the following personnel:
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations of the HR staff.
- Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and recommended best practices
- Assists with developing best practices for recruiting and hiring.
- Oversees the administration of HR programs including but not limited to:
- Handles the onboarding and HR related areas for Confidential Payroll employees
- Processes bi-weekly payroll for Confidential Payroll employees
- Oversees the annual payrate review process and semi-annual bonus incentive program.
