What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller and Cost Accountant position at C&M Concrete Precast & Construction?
C & M Concrete is a privately owned concrete and precast business located in Kerrville, Texas with annual sales of $12 million. We are looking to hire a Controller/Cost Accountant.
The ideal person will be a self-starter who can oversee all accounting functions of the business. These duties include:
- Develop and maintain the cost accounting system for the organization
- Provide management with timely reviews of the organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities
- Prepare reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present and expected operations.
- Prepare financials for year-end tax return and CPA Reviewed Financial Statements
- Compile Annual Budget
- Lead and manage the accounting staff
