Qualifications:

• 5 years of payroll experience (required)
• 3 years of payroll experience with labor unions and collective bargaining agreements (required)
• Familiar with the construction industry and local unions (preferred)

Responsibilities for this position will consist of the following but are not limited to:

• Process payroll for ~400 employees, including labor union workers
• Process new hires, data entry, direct deposit etc.
• Set up garnishments, levies, child support, 401K deductions
• Prepare and pay garnishments weekly
• Maintain and recording the accumulation and use of vacation and sick days
• Resolve payroll discrepancies
• Prepare and pay weekly/quarterly payroll taxes
• Prepare certified payrolls
• Use Sage Timberline Payroll/AP System and Microsoft Office/Excel
