Bynder is the leader in cloud-based digital asset management. We're seeking a Mid-level to Senior Front-end Engineer with a passion for web technologies to join our fast growing Technology group. Our cloud-based product is utilized by some of the world's largest brands.

The ideal candidate is extremely independent and self-motivated, with the ability to take a project and run with it. You will be an integral member of our development team, responsible for everything from front-end development to system design and release processes.

What you will do:

• Actively work with backend developers in architecting or consuming REST API
• Deliver top quality features with efficiency, performance and scalability in mind
• Challenge the existing architecture and always keep a critical eye
• Work together with the team to discuss the features and the best way to tackle them
• Collaborate with UX / UI designers and implement features based on mockups

What you bring:

• 4 years of experience using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery
• Experience with modern libraries/frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES2015 and beyond, Babel, Typescript or Flow, linting tools, npm)
• Javascript design patterns (Prototype, Observer, Mixin, ...)
• Experience building responsive and cross-browser compatible web applications
• Experience in deploying a web application in a continuous way (webpack, jenkins)
• Performance concerns (bundle sizes, efficiently serving resources)
• Valuing the importance of testing and experience creating both unit and integration tests

BONUS SKILLS:

• Experience working with B2B, SaaS / Cloud, DAM, or marketing technologies
• Incorporate the agile manifesto on your day-to-day actions
• Experience with an event sourced architecture and its implications to the frontend (eventual consistency, optimistic UI)
• MSc/BSc in a Computer Science field or equivalent experience
