Butterball Farms, Inc. is currently hiring a 3rd Shift Sanitation Technician to join our team!

Pay Rate: Starting at $17.00 per/hour (Varies based on experience)

3rd Shift Premium: 0.75 per/hour

Schedule: 9pm - 5am, Start Time Varies between 7-9 pm, Currently working 6-7 days a week

As a Sanitation Technician you will:

• Cover all electrical boxes and equipment before beginning the clean
• Safely and properly disassemble production equipment
• Rinse equipment of all remaining raw material and product residue
• Properly foam, soap, and scrub the equipment
• Sanitize the equipment using the appropriate sanitation method
• Reassemble the equipment back to its original state
• Check and remove moisture if any are present in the pipes and ceiling
• Meet USDA and company standards, using identified chemicals, foam machines, brushes, water hoses, squeegees, etc.
• Using 5'S organize the area
• Sanitize the floor using proper chemicals, products and squeegee the excess water into the waste drains
• Understand the impact of the Sanitation Teams work on micro counts and product cleanliness
• Check equipment after finishing the sanitation cycle to verify swabs are acceptable

Requirements

We believe a successful Sanitation Technician will have the following qualifications:

• Previous Sanitation experience is preferred, but not required
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions
• Ability to determine the root cause of issues that arise
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• The position requires standing, walking, bending, crouching and climbing up steps, and working in a hot/wet environment
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds
• Good eye-hand coordination
• Ability to manage time well and complete given tasks within the given time frame
• Good memorization skills to properly assemble and disassemble machinery 
• Understand and comply with company PPE policy
• Must have the ability to work well with co-workers
