Business Management Associates, Inc. Business Management Associates (BMA) is seeking a Human Resources Specialist (Staffing) who provides support for HR Staffing Specialists. Requires knowledge in all aspects of Federal personnel staffing from building vacancies to performing qualification reviews of applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Requires experience in planning and executing actions with minimal supervision to ensure vacancies are filled as expeditiously as possible.
  • Preferred experience in Category Rating. Proficient in the development of position descriptions and qualification requirements.
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills and requires the ability to work courteously and effectively with HR personnel, business units, and the public.
  • May provide guidance and oversight to other administrative and/or HR staff.
  • Additional duties may not be limited to what is listed.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Must be DEU (Delegated Examining Unit) Certified
  • Knowledge of federal Human Resources, and other federal and agency policies and guidelines.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Federal HR Staffing Specialist with at least three (3) years of experience in performing qualification reviews on applications to DE vacancies
