Burnett Dairy is looking for a detail-oriented sales and marketing manager to contribute to the achievement of sales targets by supporting sales representatives, coordinating sales and marketing activities, and maintaining good customer relationships. This individual needs to be proficient in Salesforce customer relationship management software and applications. The inside sales manager’s responsibilities include supporting sales, managing sales promotions, developing activation campaigns, ensuring order satisfaction, coordinating with other departments, handling administrative duties, and promoting customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities for this position:
Sales Support
- Manage Salesforce application through updates and analysis with sales team. Keep sales team with updated goals and tracking.
- Manage customer deduction process and support sales team in quarterly spending updates
- Coordinate customer trade letter and price change communications
Customer Support
- Helping the sales team to improve their productivity by contacting customers
- Handling urgent calls, emails, and messages when sales representatives are unavailable, answering customer queries, informing them of delays, arranging delivery dates, and scheduling marketing events and promo needs.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, queries, and deliveries are handled efficiently.
Sales Activation
- Build and maintain a calendar of events with operators, retailers, and distributors
- Analyze success of previous campaigns
- Competitor analysis and tracking
Clerical/Data Management
- Developing and maintaining filing systems to maintain sales records, prepare reports, and provide financial information to the finance department.
- Maintains price lists
- Manage and process sample requests according to set guidelines
Additional Responsibilities:
- Adapts productively to change, demonstrates flexibility in approach to work, performs all duties as assigned, and complies with all safe work practices.
- Ensures confidentiality is not breached in regard to proprietary information
- Conducts all business activities in accordance with widely recognized ethical standards
Qualifications:
Physical Demands
- Occasionally lift up to 30 Pounds; Push/Pull/Stack up to 30 Pounds
- Repetitive Motion; frequent use of computer
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred in communications, business) or at least 4 years related experience and/or training
