We are seeking a Marketing professional to drive business results through effective marketing and community initiatives across all Burn Boot Camp locations between in Rochester MN, La Crosse WI, Holmen WI, Wausau WI and Appleton WI (coming soon). An expert communicator and strong leader, the Marketing & Communications Manager will act as a liaison between key stakeholders including Operations Managers, Lead Trainers, Leadership, agencies, community partners and Fit Member Ambassadors.

With several open locations in the Midwest region, our award winning team is growing. We are actively seeking the strongest and most passionate candidates to be a part of our dream team and spread the Burn Boot Camp mission.

This position will work both independently and in a team setting, with direct management of external agencies. This person must be comfortable making decisions, taking initiative and influencing others. Foundational marketing strategy knowledge and the desire to execute to completion is required. This self-starter must be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.

This is a full-time position. While this is a remote position, a local to La Crosse candidate is necessary as in-gym presence is required from time to time.

Burn Boot Camp is a fitness franchise with 330 locations nationwide. 

Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy

· Stay informed of new developments in the field of marketing and communications and industry news to foster ideas and innovation

· Identify gaps, solutions and opportunities to maximize efforts and results based on company objectives and gym performance

· Develop an understanding of the franchise marketing strategy, as well as each gym’s short and long-term goals and planned initiatives

· Assist in Annual Planning to develop an Annual Calendar

· Develop the Social Content Calendar and direct work to others for execution

· Own Marketing budget and measurement

Tactical Planning

· Direct and collaborate with key stakeholders on month-to-month initiatives with proactive planning towards quarterly and annual initiatives

· Create and finalize monthly initiatives and present to team members; maintain accuracy and drive to completion for results

· Oversee creative execution through all channels of marketing for both internal and external audiences

· Write copy for in-gym signage, newsletters, email, text, etc.

· Manage email/text marketing systems

· Lead and organize special events and be on-site, as necessary

· Coordinate marketing wholesale needs

· Plan and coordinate community and philanthropic initiatives

Team Integration

· Work alongside marketing agencies and Midwest Burn key stakeholders to understand strategic initiatives and execute accordingly through the tactical phases

· Build strong partnerships throughout the organization and with key community partners to ensure all are working towards the same goals

· Develop and leverage community partners and external relationships for results

· Work directly with Burn Boot Camp Headquarters to receive marketing strategy and inputs

· Work directly with Fit Member Ambassadors to communicate upcoming initiatives and facilitate collaboration

· Manage external Marketing partners including onboarding/offboarding process and relevant training

· Influence to champion the process including Initiative Briefs, Ticketing, Social Media Content Calendar, etc.
