Overview

As the Director, Communications, you will support Store Communications and Workload Planning. You will play a critical role within our Store Operations leadership team. You will be responsible for partnering across the organization to develop strategic communications strategies and gatekeeping/workload capacity plans. You will integrate planning processes with field and corporate business partners to ensure alignment with business objectives. A successful candidate will build and maintain strong relationships throughout the organization with both field and corporate business partners, working in a growing, fast paced environment, remaining flexible with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.You must be able to prioritize, plan, and implement workload planning solutions that streamline execution and drive results through an organized and effective communication strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop communication strategies to support end-to-end initiatives that drive operational improvements in stores via updated processes, operational efficiencies, and SOPs.
  • Develop communications tools (calendars, brand templates, etc.,) that enable management teams to understand workload requirements and potential impact on driving results.
  • Manage a comprehensive gatekeeping/workload capacity strategy that supports stores’ ability to execute tasks at the highest level.
  • Drive field and store execution through the BPLANNER task management system
  • Work closely with IT partners to develop and maintain KPI dashboard for field and stores to drive results through the most important metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in a related discipline (retail operations, business administration, communications, project management, etc.) with 5 years experience developing operational or workload planning strategies in a fast-paced retail environment or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership experience with proven ability to achieve business results while executing against multiple priorities
