Burke Leighton Management is Hiring a Property Manager Near Hollywood, FL

BILINGUAL ENGLISH & SPANISH required

Job Description

Established real estate company is seeking a full-time Property Manager for their portfolio of multifamily properties in Miami-Dade and Broward. Perform day-to-day operation of managing residential properties, including leasing, collections, maintenance, and timely updating our Property Management software.

This position requires someone who has strong computer and communication skills, can take initiative, is well organized, detail-oriented, ability to travel, and is bilingual (Spanish & English).

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Collects monthly rental payments, makes deposits, runs delinquency reports, and sends out late notices to residents, such as 3-day notices, as applicable.
  • Supervise unit turnover process (including move-in/out inspections, processing applications, and monitoring unit “make-ready” requirements).
  • Regularly inspect tenant space, common areas, parking garage, base building areas and ground to ensure high level of maintenance.
  • Maintain positive working relationship with tenants, vendors, and contractors.
  • Distribute and follow-up on renewal notices.
  • Maintain proper cost control of materials and supplies.
  • Issuance and control of keys to the property.

Knowledge:

  • Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office Applications
  • Working knowledge of property management software programs
  • Knowledge of Yardi, AppFolio software preferred

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • Property management experience, specializing in residential property management required
  • Strong ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks with limited supervision
  • Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel, when necessary
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $61,633.00 - $67,617.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Paid time off
