Full Job Description
Summary/Objective
Extruders are responsible for setting up, maintaining and running the extrusion lines.
Essential Functions
Responsible for operating and maintaining machines that extrude materials into hoses
Follows the Bulldog Hose Quality Assurance Program by accurately performing the required tasks as directed by team leader

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, oil and grease. The team member is occasionally exposed to vibration. The team member occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and performs work from a variety of different angles and body positions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, twisting, crouching, and crawling all day. The team member is frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The team member frequently is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The team member must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds; and frequently lift and move up to 5 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time 1st shift position. Days of work are Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm
Opportunities to work extended hours and on weekend work may be optional or required as job duties demand.
