Outside Parts representative

Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Dealer seeking Outside Parts Representative.

Duties:

Visit assigned Customers

Prospect for new Customers

Communicate parts orders to counterperson. Advise whether status is stock or emergency

Check with customers to ensure that delivery date of stock items is acceptable before ordering

Review any special orders with parts mgr

Obtain parts mgr’s approval for any special pricing

Advise counterperson on delivery instructions

Follow up on parts orders to ensure that customer have been served properly

Turn in completed call reports

Act as public relations liaison for the dealership

Maintain professional appearance

Fulfill our customers’ needs for parts

Customer Service

Valid drivers license required

High School Diploma or GED

Experience 3 years

Self-Motivated

Truck Parts experience plus

Shift: Days Duration: Regular

Workweek: Full time

Additional Workweek Details: M-F 8 am - 5 pm
