Reporting to: Director of Dining Services

Job Summary:

The Production Chef ensures that appropriate quantities of food are prepared in the main production kitchen, packaged, and transported to the satellite serving facility. This position is responsible for the set-up, serving, cleanliness, and presentation of the satellite lunch service. This position ensures the clean breakdown and transportation of dirty dishes and leftover food back to the main production kitchen. The Production Chef's daily tasks will follow the task list provided by the Director of Dining Services. This is a full-time year-round position. 

Hours available for this role are 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM on weekdays.

Skills and Competencies:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, competencies, and experience:

• Excellent communication skills
• Experience cooking in a professional setting required
• Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks
• Team-oriented with enthusiasm for food preparation and dining services
• Ability to climb stairs and lift 50 lbs.
