About the Financial Planner Role

The Financial Planner is responsible for consulting in the design, implementation and execution of long-term wealth planning for current and prospective clients focusing primarily in high net worth clients.

In this role, you will:

· Prepare financial planning analyses for clients including, but not limited to retirement, investments, estate, tax, education funding, real estate, and risk management needs analysis.

· Work with the Relationship Manager to create analysis and reports using eMoney and Microsoft Word/Excel for client meetings and actively participate in those meetings.

· Serve as an integral member of the relationship team to develop and implement client strategy.

· Prepare and organize files for initial client appointments and follow up.

· Communicate with clients as necessary both verbally and in writing

· Enhance the strong relationships with our prospects and clients.

· May assist in tax planning and quarterly tax projections as well as tax return preparation and review.

· Update financial analysis for existing clients to reflect changes in their situation, such as adjusting retirement assumptions or exploring tax planning opportunities.

· Research insurance and annuity options and assists with gathering quotes and illustrations

To be successful in this role, you will bring with you:

· Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

· 3 years' experience in a financial planning role

· Strong ability to analyze financial data and provide adequate financial advice

· Exceptional communication, analytical and presentation skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software

· Proficiency in E-Money Software (Preferred)

· Ability to multitask and prioritize

· Ability to work under pressure and deadlines

· Ability to handle and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

· Ability to work both independently and in conjunction with a team.

· Understanding of when and how to work in an efficient manner.
