BSC/Geonetics is seeking to add a Software Developer to the team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of custom application development projects for our clients. The Developer will be responsible for developing custom applications in a variety of web development platforms including .NET, Android and iOS platforms.

Requirements for the position include:

• 4 Year Computer Science Degree (BS) focus on Software Engineering
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for application development
• Full-stack software development
  • Front-end
  • Application Tier
  • Database
• Mastery of structured software engineering theory
  • object oriented programming
  • event driven design patterns
• 2-4 years programming experience
• Code implemented in production environment
• Ability and desire to develop interactive user interfaces
• JavaScript, HTML, and CSS knowledge
• Programming experience with different web protocols: Web Services, HTTP, JSON, REST
• C# Programming experience preferred.
• Experience with Windows Server Platforms preferred
• Experience diagnosing and resolving issues, especially related to web security and network security
• Ability to develop and work independently as well as on small teams
• Willingness and ability to create and adapt to new technologies
• Development experience using SQL Server a plus
