Description
Are you a Designer on the path to registration that is interested in working for interdisciplinary design firm that creates inspired solutions that improve lives through architecture, engineering, interior design, and planning services? This role is responsible for assisting with developing design ideas, architectural documentation, and the delivery of assigned projects and will work from our Raleigh studio.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Architectural design and planning process on projects. Assist in client engagement through all processes and tools.
- Prepares design presentation documentation, design process documentation, and working drawings.
- May present design to client or design committee and discuss need for modification or change.
- Project delivery and support provided
- Participates in all design and construction phases of projects.
- Identifies, communicates, and improves design processes with other team members.
- Works within assigned workplan hours and/or asks for guidance.
- Pursue certification and/or licensure (if on a licensure track)
- Minimize rework
- Recommend alterations to design to improve quality.
- Participates in project debriefs and lesson’s learned sessions.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
- Reads publications, attends presentations, and consults with various project personnel to establish design concepts
- Promote company’s reputation through good client relations.
- Continually increase technical knowledge of materials, products, and detailing.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned

- Computer skills required: Microsoft Windows environment, Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Google: Mail, Calendar, Drive, Apps; familiarity with Deltek Vision preferred.
- Architecture: Revit, Sketchup, Bluebeam; Graphic Software: InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Architecture
- On the path to Professional Licensure in Architecture
- 2 to 7 years related experience required.
- Experience working on projects in healing, learning, and/or discovery preferred.
