Summary:
Under the direction of the Quality and Safety Manager, the Quality Control (QC) Lab Technician plays a critical supporting role for QA engineers, QC lab operations, and manufacturing operations to minimize risk to the health and safety of everyone at the facility, to the environment, and to the quality of the material manufactured at the facility.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, reach with hands and arms, stand/walk, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Typical manufacturing environment with machinery and QC lab with high-field magnet, cryogens, and chemicals. Noise in the environment is usually moderate.
