Marketing Coordinator

BRUDIS & ASSOCIATES, INC. (BAI) is a multidiscipline engineering firm providing consulting services to public and private sector clients in the Maryland, Virginia, and District of Columbia region. Since 1992, BAI has provided comprehensive, innovative and effective solutions to our clients’ transportation, stormwater, and infrastructure needs.

BAI is actively seeking a Marketing Coordinator in our Columbia, Maryland office.

Job Summary

The Marketing Coordinator will work independently on smaller projects or portions of large marketing pursuits as part of a project team. The individual will be responsible for coordinating proposal efforts for Federal, State, County and other government agency project advertisements in pursuit of engineering or construction inspection contracts. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining the company website, basic graphic design and posting marketing materials to various social media outlets, as well as other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities and Duties

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent verbal, written, organizational, time management, communication and computer skills. The candidate is expected to help in whatever duties are required to deliver a quality product on schedule. The candidate should demonstrate flexibility in working with a variety of team members, including firm principals and project leaders, to meet dynamic project demands. The qualified candidate would be responsible for:

  • Coordination of client meetings
  • Organizing, coordinating and/or developing marketing materials including presentations, collateral, reports, photography, project summaries and staff resumes
  • Overseeing the timely production of proposals including copying, binding, distribution and delivery
  • Collecting, developing and editing content, data and images adhering to formatting and graphic standards
  • Ensuring all written materials are accurate, effective and developed in a timely manner
  • Conducting RFP/bid boards searches and analyze results
  • Maintaining company website and social media sites, including preparing graphics, photographs and updating written content as needed
  • Other general administrative and marketing duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • BA or BS in Marketing, Business Administration, English, Journalism, or related discipline
  • Strong writing, editing, grammar and proofreading abilities
  • Experience in business development, website design, and graphic design 
  • Experience working with SF-255/254/330 forms and development brochures and marketing materials
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to simultaneously work on multiple tasks
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to work with a variety of technical and management professionals
  • Proficiency in MS Office Products, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop and other Graphic Design software
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a proposal development role in the A/E industry a plus 
  • Experience working with Maryland and Virginia state, county and local agencies a plus
