1 FULL TIME and 1 PART TIME Position Available: Day shift

Our Cooks are responsible for prepping and cooking of hot foods for Lunch and Supper and tray line serving. We are always looking for positive, dependable, caring individuals to join our team to meet the growing demand in our community for quality care.

COOK DUTIES INCLUDE: 

  • Prepares the main meal for lunch and dinner service and follows production requirements, recipes, production and spread sheet, and posted menus.
  • Plans production to coordinate taste, quality, temperature and appearance of food throughout service.
  • Ensures that preparation coincides with meal service hours and batch cooks items for service on the lunch tray line
  • Ensures the safe and sanitary handling of all foods prepared and stored throughout the day. Also ensures proper utilization of leftovers in cooperation with the Supervisor.
