Responsibilities

The Regional Manager provides strategic and tactical leadership for Brosnan’s Mid-Atlantic Region. Responsible for the staffing and execution of multi-client contracted security needs. The RM ensures sites are contractually staffed; personnel has the tools, training, and leadership to perform their duties. The RM has direct ownership in developing the Company's geographic footprint and fiscal performance of its assigned regions. The RM must be tuned into their region and provide rapid solutions for anticipated and unanticipated changes. 

The RM role requires client interaction and new business development within their region. Personnel development and leadership identification are critical to the region's success and the RM's professional development.

The Regional Manager also is responsible for developing client relationships in their respective territory, ensuring operations are being delivered to exceed client expectations, supporting and developing internal BRC staff, and ensuring the growth of their Region. The Regional Manager provides operational and administrative management services that are effective, timely, and efficient.

 Responsibilities

  • Executive responsibility for regional operations' operational, financial, administrative, and customer relationship activities. Stated – responsible for all their region does or fails to do.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of contract security services operations to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits.
  • Leads in meeting client needs; meets with clients regularly; provides security and technical expertise and solutions.
  • Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
  • Oversee and manage client relationships, cultivating key accounts while strengthening existing accounts through adequate quality assurance and customer service management. 
  • Implement operational efficiencies across cost management, staffing, and service quality.
  • Assess operational and financial indicators and client feedback to improve overall performance and ensure profitable operations.
  • Performing talent acquisition, recruitment, orientation, staff development, and retention in direct collaboration with regional management, assigning and directing work assignments, motivating staff members to exceed expectations, and enforcing disciplinary actions when necessary. 
  • Achieve optimal efficiency and maximum profitability while implementing regional policies, action plans, and new market strategies. 
  • Authorizing and directing all Regional expenditures, including equipment, supplies, and vehicles, with additional responsibilities for fleet maintenance, payroll records, budget management, etc. 
  • Maintaining a positive, professional workplace culture while ensuring all staff members comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Delivering detailed, immediate reports, assessments, analyses, and recommendations for safety and security vulnerabilities to senior leadership.
  • Monitor operational progress to improve operations and customer partnerships.
  • Ensures the successful operational implementation of new contract start-up, including personnel requirements, material, training, facility, and equipment needs. 
  • Partners with Corporate to ensure thorough training of all assigned employees in client, company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations. Coordinates and conducts client/site-specific training and annual refresher training for security personnel and meets corporate training standards.
  • Assist in Preparation & editing SOP Manuals, Read Files, Post Orders, and site documentation.
  • Providing employees with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities and building effective teams.
  • Integrations of the functions into their business and compliance with internal execution protocols.
  • Assist with Marketing Campaign Execution
  • Profitability, expense management, budget performance
  • Divisional Fleet / Logistics Oversight
  • Provide emergency response and operational support, as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree, ten or more years of experience in a field related to the security industry and business management, and substantial experience in the security industry, including supervisory experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of security operations.
  • Ability to think strategically, synthesize business/financial data and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
  • Strong customer service and service delivery orientation.
  • 17-10 plus years of Progressive Management Experience
  • National / U.S. Regional Management Experience
  • Military / Large (>5000 employees) Corporate Experience
