Brooks Internship Program:
Brooks Running hosts summer internships at our Seattle HQ offices to provide hands-on, meaningful work experience to further enhance your education and professional aptitude. Our interns gain exposure to real work, and projects while working side by side with Brooks employees and leadership. If chosen for this role, you will join a cohort of interns at Brooks and embark on a summer of learning, professional development, and exposure to the Brooks brand and culture.
Duration: 3 months
Dates: June - August/September 2023
Location: Seattle, HQ
Schedule: 40 hours / week
Our Information Security Team is a seeking a Cyber Security intern to work at our Seattle, HQ offices. This position will work closely with the Information Security team, which is responsible for protection Brooks from Cyber Criminals and adversaries. The team also works closely with other IT departments, including Infrastructure, Operations, Workplace Services, Digital Products, Enterprise Applications, Data & Analytics, and Business Systems.
Through this opportunity you will help our team reduce risk by investigating and responding to security events and improving our overall security posture.
You will gain exposure to the tactics and techniques used by cyber criminals to go from reconnaissance to initial access to impact as well as the ways we protect against each of those steps in a large corporate environment.
You will research and provide suggestions on detection tuning, control validation, and platform hardening.
