Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees facility workflow, repairs, and maintenance.
• Maintains facility spare part inventories, purchases, and supplies.
• Monitors repair documentation and preventative maintenance work order processes.
• Documents and tracks facility equipment assets and usage.
• Assists with facility and safety compliance related repairs and services.
• Assists with other maintenance related tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Advanced knowledge of material handling equipment and repairs.
• Advanced knowledge of inventory management processes.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical troubleshooting procedures.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic knowledge of SAP reporting and transactional applications.
• Ability to occasionally travel to off-site and out-of-town locations.
• Ability to work on-call and flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret information.
• Ability to research information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes.
• Ability to reason, form concepts and recognize and solve problems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
• Ability to use knives/box cutters.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery/ hazardous equipment.
• May be required to drive in accordance with the BGC Driver policy.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Eight or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
• Completion of vocational or technical school required.
• Associates Degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum of 21 years of age required.
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred.
