We are seeking a full-time Head Chef to set up our kitchen services and lead our camp service team. As the Head Chef, you are responsible to lead and inspire a dynamic culinary team while delivering delicious, high-quality meals to guests at our camp. You work to create a positive and safe working environment for your culinary team and ensure they receive the necessary training, guidance, and support to perform their jobs with excellence.
To be successful you will be responsible for selecting and developing recipes and preparing a variety of dishes. You will also monitor cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and communicate effectively with clients and employees to continuously improve the quality of food services. This kitchen management role will involve ensuring safety policies and practices are followed at all times, conduct safety meetings, and supervise the culinary team in a remote camp environment.
This position is in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska and requires a rotational commitment working a two-week-on/two-week-off rotation.
