This is a day shift, Monday through Friday.

Job Summary:

The Machine Operator role will play a pivotal role in our production process by ensuring the efficient and safe operation of various machines and equipment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Set-up and operate various machinery in accordance with proper set-up techniques, diagrams, and work instructions.

· Control and adjust machine settings during production.

· Inspect rollers, anvils, and dies for damage, before and after each run.

· Monitor product quality, including, but not limited to, unwind and rewind tensions, visual defects, correct dimensions, and comparisons to the product drawing.

· Perform Quality inspections of finished goods during and after production.

· Participate in production planning and on-going job-related training.

· Perform and document preventative maintenance of machinery.

· Support safety, quality, and all company policy and procedures.

· Participate and share in continuous improvement initiatives and perform all tasks necessary to run the facility.

· All other duties assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications, Knowledge, & Skills:

· Attention and complete adherence to quality and safety standards.

· Good documentation practices and attention to detail.

· High School Level math and literacy.

· Ability to accurately interpret rulers, calipers, and micrometers.

· Ability to read and understand product drawings, specifications, and product quality requirements.

· Technical hands-on material handling experience is a plus.

· Proven ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

· Knowledge of OSHA standards

· Some experience with forklift operation

· Basic computer skills required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift to 60lbs regularly.
• Ability to remain on feet for long periods.
• Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
