This great opportunity is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin SUMMARY: The Quality Assurance Specialist coordinates and implements all activities within the Business Performance Management System policy and procedure within the subsidiary. The core areas of focus within the Business Performance Management System include but are not limited to: (1) Infrastructure and Information Management; (2) Education & Leadership; (3) Performance Auditing; and, (4) Perfection, Evolution and Innovation Management. Also, the Quality Assurance Specialist ensures implementation of the dynamic systems of Information Management; Software Integration Management; Employee Education & Support; Technology Improvement Planning; Electronic file structure/data storage management; and, IT Disaster Plan Management in order to ensure the ongoing utilization and maximization of IT functionality, and to preserve and protect proprietary and confidential information. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for implementing, monitoring and improving all program operations relating to safety and security of individuals served and the facilities in which the company conducts business. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Quality Assurance Specialist will: · Provide and ensure the complete service delivery in a healthy and safe manner that supports Broadstep’s vision, mission and values Ensure the integration and implementation of all Broadstep and subsidiary policies,procedures, state-specific regulatory requirements, contract stipulations andaccreditation standards, including but not limited to:· Knowledge that abuse (physical, sexual, verbal/psychological), neglect, exploitation and misappropriation and other code of ethics violations are against the law and company code of conduct. The team member must be able to implement all facets of the company’s Abuse, Neglect, Exploitation and Misappropriation policy, including the responsibility of being a mandatory reporter. Per state requirements and company policy, team members will report immediately to the state licenser, appropriate company personnel and external contacts, and they will fully participate in all stages of an investigation pertaining to suspected abuse by team members, parents and others. Additionally, the team member must comply with any external (County, State or Federal) investigation or inspection. · Knowledge of all individual rights and the ability to identify, intervene and report appropriately when observing a violation; · Knowledge of the confidentiality policy and HIPAA laws, and always apply the practices governing those policies and legislation; · Knowledge of the subsidiary-implemented crisis intervention programs and be able to implement all protocols as identified in the individual’s treatment plan; · Knowledge of all company transportation procedures and operates all personal and company vehicles in accordance with those policies; · Knowledge of all company crisis/emergency plans and applies that knowledge during each test drill and actual crisis situation; · Ensure the integration and implementation of all BBH and subsidiary quality assurance policies, procedures, State-specific regulatory requirements, contract stipulations and accreditation standards; Oversee the process of daily, monthly, semi-annual and annual review of subsidiary performance based upon strategic plans and organizational goals;EnsEnure the implementation of the processes defined in the Infrastructure and Information Management phase of the Business Performance Management System Policy and Procedure; · Conduct field consultations every six (6) months with the respective program supervisor with the goal of training the standards to each level throughout the system; · Measure and analyze the processes and outcomes of the Business Performance Management System and recommend a course of action for improvement as necessary; · · Performs other related duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS:· Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Service related fields (preferred); · Possess a minimum of one (1) year of quality assurance experience· Preferred: o Possess a Green Belt, Black Belt, or Lean Six Sigma certification; o One or more years of supervisory experience; o One or more years of experience with individuals meeting the program admission criteria· Meet all licensing requirements set forth by the respective state of operation;
