Job Description
Busy dental office looking for friendly, outgoing person to assist the dentist in all areas. Needs to be able to put patients at ease and carry on a conversation with the doctor and the patients, while still being efficient and competent. Must be willing to jump in and help anywhere that is needed in the office by helping front office and hygienists as needed. We use Dentrix and Dexis. Hours are M-W 7:15-4:30, Th 7:15-1:30 and 1-2 Fridays a month 7:15 -1:30. Some benefits available. Would love to have someone work the full schedule but willing to break up the days.
This is a great office with no drama. The doctors are ethical and honest and our patients know that and are happy to be here. We like to laugh and have fun with our patients but still remain professional. We are looking for someone that will fit in and enjoy their job. Responsibilities
Assist dentist, prepare room, clean room and instruments, take x-rays, take impressions, make temporary crowns, and any other tasks that are required.
Qualifications
Must have at least 1 to 2 years experience as a dental assistant. Ability to suction (we do not use the Isolite suction system- must have experience with traditional suction), take impressions, x-rays etc. Great personality. Comfortable talking with the patients and doctors.
